Gold Knee (Zirconium Nitride or Titanium Nitride Coated Implants)

Gold Knee Replacement is a modern orthopedic innovation designed for patients who demand both durability and biocompatibility. Contrary to the name, the implant is not made of real gold but features a gold-colored coating, typically zirconium nitride (ZrN) or titanium nitride (TiN). This special coating is applied over a base metal (usually cobalt-chromium or titanium) to form an ultra-smooth, hard, and hypoallergenic surface.
